The next step, and by far, the most important step in the success of this program, is writing it down. When you have a very deliberate program to follow and try to do it all in your head, you are asking for failure. You may forget to account for the handful of potato chips you had with lunch or the mini bag of M&Ms, but unfortunately your body counts every calorie! By keeping a food journal, you not only hold yourself accountable but you are also creating a new, healthy behavioral habit. By being aware of what you eat and what time you eat, you can easily identify any challenges you may face throughout the day.
