Requirements
  • One year of professional experience as a personal trainer
  • Experience performing and evaluating physical assessments
  • Experience creating safe and effective individualized exercise programs consistent with clients’ personal fitness and exercise goals.
  • Experience working with a variety of personal training equipment and techniques
  • Experience working with a wide range of ages and fitness levels
  • A history of success achieving results with personal training clients
  • Current personal training certification from a nationally recognized certifying authority or 4-year degree in a related field
  • Active CPR/AED certification from a nationally recognized certifying authority
  • Prior customer service and/or sales experience preferred, but not required

The Assistant Director of Wellness Programs is a full-time position comprised of membership sales, accountability coaching and personal training. The position offers competitive hourly compensation, commissions and production bonuses. We offer paid on-the-job training in boxing, general fitness and sales as well as ample opportunities for advancement.

Empowering Punch Personal Training and Fitness Studio is a private studio located inside the Southpark Mall in Strongsville. We offer over 30 fitness classes, one-on-one and small group personal training and specialize in results!   • Current Personal Training Certification from a nationally recognized certifying authority or 4-year degree in a related field
  • Active CPR/AED Certification from a nationally recognized certifying authority -Prior customer service and/or sales experience preferred, but not required

Studio Maintenance

Studio Maintenance

Empowering Punch has an extraordinary reputation for the cleanliness of the studio and we intend to keep it that way! There is an immediate opening for a studio cleaner to pick up 2 shifts per week. This position is compensated on a barter basis. As a cleaner, you are required to clean the studio 2 days per week (2 hour shifts) in exchange for free unlimited fitness classes. Client Services Associate

Empowering Punch is currently looking for a friendly, enthusiastic professional to fill part-time and full-time Client Services Associate positions. If you are interested in being part of the Empowering Punch team, please submit your letter of interest and resume to danyl@empoweringpunch.com

As a Client Services Associate, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
  • Greeting all clients and guests enthusiastically and professionally
  • Checking in all clients and updating client profile charts
  • Answering the phone and taking messages for trainers and instructors
  • Scheduling training and class appointments
  • Processing service contracts, renewal payments and retail transactions
  • Operating the Point of Sale software and balancing cash drawer
  • Updating class schedule on website
  • Receiving in, stocking and conducting inventory of retail products
  • Checking client scan cards, account status, workout and guest registration
  • Assist with cleaning the facility when necessary
  • Any other responsibilities that would be required to maintain effective operations of the studio

Client Services Associate

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years or older to apply
  • Strong interest in health and fitness and must personally work out on a regular basis
  • Strong computer and administrative skills
  • Available to work retail hours including weekends
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Sales experience a plus
